AirAsia has introduced a new feature on its website that will allow for customers to cancel their flight bookings.

The Malaysia-based AirAsia announced the new feature – named “Easy Cancel” - which will enable customers to cancel their bookings with the airline up to 48 hours before departure.

According to the airline group, the feature will be available on all AirAsia routes except flights bound for South Korea and within Indonesia. The feature will be added for AirAsia X (D7) operated flights by the end of May.

On the website, customers will need to add and pay for the selected Easy Cancel option when they book their flights. Customers can select refund options between 80% and 100% coverage. The refund will be given within ten (10) days, and will include other payments for add-ons such as baggage, meals, and other fees.
